Workshop on reading the ILO 2000 Classification of Pneumononiosis

ABSTRACT

Purpose: An introduction to ILO 2000 International Classification of Radiographs of Pneumoconiosis
Target: Chest Physicians, Radiologists, General Physicians, and Industrial Physicians
Methods: A group of participants is provided with the Classification standard film set, reading material films, Guidebook, and reading sheets. The lecturers show how to use the standards, how to fill in the reading sheets, and how to record findings on a sample of material films. The procedures are in reality on each illuminating box per group.
Credits: The workshop is voluntary and introductory for one and half hour. The participants can get access to new and improved aspects of the ILO 2000 sytstem through the expert knowledge.
Profile: The lecturer, Professor Yuki, has been one of international experts for the developing the ILO 2000 System and of trainers for ILO and national workshops on pneumoconiosis radiographs in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Japan.
